Eliezer Murilo Engelmann
Eliezer Murilo Engelmann (born 19 November 1973), better known as Murilo or Murilo Engelmann, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career A graduate of Grêmio, Murilo was part of the champion teams in the 90s, even though he was Danrlei backup most of the time. Entered during the match in the 1996 Recopa Sudamericana. In 2000, he went to Fluminense where he was a starter and featured for a few years, becoming Rio champion in 2002. He also played for Juventude and São José. Personal life He currently owns a pizzeria in Porto Alegre. The 1996 Recopa Sudamericana was the eighth Recopa Sudamericana, an annual football match between the winners of the previous season's Copa Libertadores and Supercopa Sudamericana competitions. The match was contested between Grêmio, winners of the 1995 Copa Libertadores, and defending champions Independiente, winners of the 1995 Supercopa Sudamericana, on April 7, 1996. The 2002 edition of the Campeonato Carioca kicked off on January 26 and ended on June 27, 2002. It is the official tournament organized by FFERJ (Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, or Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. Only clubs based in the Rio de Janeiro State are allowed to play. Eighteen teams contested this edition. Due to multiple schedule conflicts with the Rio-São Paulo tournament that year, the big teams used mostly reserve teams in the first phase. Fluminense won the title for the 29th time, however, due to an incident in the semifinals, the title remained under dispute until 2009. The Campeonato Carioca (Carioca Championship), officially known as Campeonato Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (Port., Rio de Janeiro State Championship), was started in 1906 and is the annual football championship in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Copa Sul-Minas was a Brazilian football competition that ran between 2000 and 2002, with teams from the three Southern states of Brazil, plus the Southeastern state of Minas Gerais. It replaced the 1999 tournament called Copa Sul which only included teams from the Southern states. The 79th season of the Campeonato Gaúcho kicked off on March 7, 1999 and ended on June 20, 1999. Thirty teams participated. Grêmio beat Internacional in the finals and won their 32nd title. Sixteen teams were relegated.
