''Elf'' is a 2003 American Christmas by medium, Christmas comedy film directed by Jon Favreau and written by David Berenbaum. It stars Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf, a human raised by Christmas elf, Santa's elves, who learns about his origins and heads to New York City to meet his biological father. James Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Mary Steenburgen, Ed Asner and Bob Newhart appear in supporting roles. ''Elf'' was released in the United States on November 7, 2003, by New Line Cinema. A singing telegram is a message delivered by an artist in a musical form. Singing telegrams are historically linked to normal telegrams, but tend to be humorous. Sometimes, the artist is in costume or formal clothing. Western Union, the American telegraph company, began offering singing telegram services in 1933. That July 28, a fan sent Hollywood singing star Rudy Vallee a birthday greeting by telegram. George P. Buddy's Musical Christmas
de Buddy's (also known as Jongenszanggroep de Buddy's) was a boys' show choir based in Delft, Netherlands that existed under this name from 1976 - 2005. The choir was founded as a traditional church choir in 1966 as ''De Nicolaessanghers'' with 30 voices from 9–16 years. Inspired from the French choir Les Poppys and their hit "Non, non, rien n'a changé" (No, no, nothing has changed, 1970) the choir was renamed and changed to the pop genre.
