Eleni Andriana Tee () is an Australian rules football field umpire in the Australian Football League (AFL) and AFL Women's (AFLW). Tee is the first female field umpire to officiate a match sanctioned by the AFL, which occurred in the 2016 NAB Challenge match between the Carlton Football Club and Essendon Football Club, played on 28 February 2016 at Princes Park. Tee also became the first female to be appointed field umpire for an AFL home-and-away match, when she was selected to officiate the and match in round 9 of the 2017 AFL season. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the pre-eminent professional sports, professional competition of Australian rules football. The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football competition in Australia operated by the Australian Football League (AFL) as a second-tier, regional, semi-professional competition. The Order of Australia is an Australian honour that recognises Australian citizens and other persons for outstanding achievement and service. It was established on 14 February 1975 by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, on the advice of then prime minister Gough Whitlam. Wayne Campbell
Wayne Campbell (born 23 September 1972) is a retired Australian rules football player and administrator for the Richmond Football Club in the AFL. He also had assistant coaching roles at the Western Bulldogs for two years. On 29 December 2013, it was announced that Campbell had been appointed as the AFL National Umpiring Director replacing Jeff Gieschen and he commenced in his new role in mid-January 2014. 2016 AFL Season
The 2016 AFL season was the 120th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs, ran from 24 March until 1 October, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. Thirty-four players, seventeen of whom were still active in the league, missed the season through suspension by the World Anti-Doping Agency, for doping infringements which occurred at the Essendon Football Club as part of its 2012 sports supplements program.
