Elena Bineva
Elena Slavcheva Bineva () (born 18 September 1999) is a retired Bulgarian group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 European and 2018 World Group 5 Hoops champion, the 2017 World Group All-around silver medalist and the 2014 Youth Olympic Group All-around silver medalist. Career She started rhythmic gymnastics at the age of three in club "Levski Iliana". At the age of six she moved to club "Levski", where her coach was Branimira Markova. Bineva became Vice Olympic Champion of the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing 2014. Later she became part of the new ensemble with Madlen Radukanova, Simona Dyankova, Laura Traets and Teodora Aleksandrova in 2016. Her hobbies are reading, going to the cinema and walking in the park. Slavcho Penchev Binev () (born 10 December 1965 in Sofia), sometimes Slavi Binev (), is a Bulgarian politician and former taekwondo champion. Before politics Binev was a taekwondo European champion in 1992. From the start of the 1990s until 2006, Slavi Binev had been one of the main shareholders in R – System Holding AD. 2017 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The 2017 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, the 35th edition, was held in Pesaro, Italy, from 30 August to 3 September 2017. This was the first time that the World Championships were held in Italy. Over 250 gymnasts from 53 countries competed. The event ambassador was Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva. This was the first World Championships with an ambassador. A reference jury was used to ensure accuracy and objectivity in scoring. Every individual gold medal and all but one silver was won by the Russian identical twins Dina Averina and Arina Averina. In the apparatus finals, Dina won gold in hoop and clubs, while Arina won with ball and ribbon. Kaho Minagawa won the first individual World medal for Japan since 1975, a bronze with hoop, and Neviana Vladinova won Bulgaria's first individual medal since 2011 with bronze in ball, which she dedicated to her coach. Teodora Aleksandrova (, born 17 July 2001) is a Bulgarian group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2017 World group all-around silver medalist and a 2015 European Junior group bronze medalist. Biography Aleksandrova began gymnastics at age 4. She competed at the 2015 European Championships as a member of the junior group, which won bronze with 5 balls. In 2017, she competed as part of the national senior group. The group competed at the 2017 World Championships in Pesaro, where they won silver in the all-around and bronze with 3 balls + 2 ropes. The 2018 World Championships were held in Aleksandrova's home country of Bulgaria, and in an interview at the beginning of the year, the members of the group noted excitement of the opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd. Laura Jean Pierre Traets (, born 13 December 1998) is a Bulgarian group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion in the group all-around. She is the 2018 World and 2021 European champion in 5 balls and the 2018 European champion in 3 balls + 2 ropes. She is a two-time (2018, 2019) World group all-around bronze medalist and the 2017 World group all-around silver medalist. On the junior level, she is the 2013 European group all-around bronze medalist.
