Elena Bechke
Elena Yurievna Bechke (; born 7 January 1966) is a Russian former pair skater. She competed for the Soviet Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Unified Team. With her then-husband Denis Petrov, she is the 1992 Olympic silver medalist, the 1989 World bronze medalist, and the 1991 and 1992 European silver medalist. Career As a young skater, Bechke was told by her coaches that she had no talent and that she should quit skating. She did not give up and skated with Valery Kornienko from 1979 to 1987. Their notable competitions included a gold medal at the inaugural pairs event of the 1984 Skate Canada International, as well as the 1986 European Championships, where they won the bronze. Bechke began skating with Denis Petrov, two years her junior, in 1987. They trained with Tamara Moskvina at the Yubileyny Sports Palace in Saint Petersburg. Artur Dmitriev
Artur Valeryevich Dmitriev (russian: Артур Валерьевич Дмитриев; born 21 January 1968) is a Russian former pair skater who competed internationally for the Soviet Union, the Unified Team, and Russia. He is a two-time Olympic champion, having won gold with Natalia Mishkutionok in 1992 and with Oksana Kazakova in 1998. He and Mishkutionok also won Olympic silver in 1994. Dmitriev is the only male pair skater to win the Olympics with two different partners. Natalia Yevgenievna Mishkutionok (russian: Наталья Евгеньевна Мишкутёнок, born 14 July 1970) is a Belarusian former pair skater. With Artur Dmitriev, she is the 1992 Olympic champion, the 1994 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time World champion (1991, 1992), and a two-time European champion (1991, 1992). Personal life Natalia Mishkutionok was born on 14 July 1970 to a Polish mother and a Belarusian father in the Byelorussian SSR. In 1995, she settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Texas in 2001. She was formerly married to American hockey player Craig Shepherd, with whom she skated professionally on occasion during the late 1990s. She divorced Shepherd and married Alan Hainline. Andrei Vasilievich Bushkov (russian: Андрей Васильевич Бушков; born 13 October 1969) is a Russian former pair skater who represented the Soviet Union until its fall, and, after that, Russia. With partner Marina Eltsova, he is the 1996 World champion and a two-time (1993 and 1997) European champion. Eltsova / Bushkov missed the 1997–1998 Champions Series Final because Bushkov had a groin injury.
