Electoral districts of Victoria are the electoral districts, commonly referred to as "seats" or "electorates", into which the Australian State of Victoria, Australia, Victoria is divided for the purpose of electing members of the Victorian Legislative Assembly, one of the two houses of the Parliament of Victoria, Parliament of the State. The State is divided into 88 single-member districts. The Legislative Assembly has had 88 electorates since the 1985 election, increased from 81 previously. Electoral boundaries are redrawn from time to time, in a process called ''redivision''. The last redivision took place in 2021, when the Victorian Electoral Boundaries Commission reviewed Victoria's district boundaries. Paul Hamer is an Australian politician. He has been a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since November 2018, representing the seat of Box Hill. Early life Hamer grew up in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. He is Jewish. Bradley William Battin (born 12 December 1975) is an Australian politician who has served as the leader of the Victorian Liberal Party since 27 December 2024, and as member for Berwick in the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2022. The original electoral district of Berwick was created at the 1976 state election and abolished at the 2002 election. In the 2021 redistribution, it was revived as a new electoral district to be contested at the 2022 state election. Nicholas Staikos (born 4 July 1986) is an Australian politician. He has been a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since November 2014, representing the Legislative Assembly seat of Bentleigh.
