Eleanor Cassar
Eleanor Cassar is a Maltese singer that won the Golden Stag Festival 2004. Born on September 29, 1982, Eleanor Cassar has been singing since she was 11 years old. She was first noticed by her teacher in Secondary school that encouraged her at participate at musical and theatrical events. The same teacher encouraged her to take singing seriously. Later Eleanor got a certificate of merit from the University of London. In 2002, she won the first prize at ''The People's Song Festival''. In 2001, Eleanor won the first prize at the ''Discovery Song Festival'' in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2003, she participated for the first time at the ''Song for Europe Festival'' with two songs: ''Someday You'll See'' and ''Tell Me Why''. The year 2004 was a successful year for Eleanor. Luqa
Luqa ( mt, Ħal Luqa, , ) is a town located in the Southern Region of Malta, 4.3 km away from the capital Valletta. With a population of 5,945 as of March 2014, it is a small but densely populated settlement which is typical of Malta's older towns and villages. Luqa is centered around a main square which contains a church dedicated to St. Andrew. Golden Stag
The Golden Stag Festival ( ro, Cerbul de Aur) is the most popular Romanian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Braşov, Romania. History The Golden Stag was first held in 1968, but after 1971 it was banned by the Communist leadership. After the fall of Communism, new editions were organised starting from 1992. Between 2010 and 2017 the festival wasn't held due to lack of funds. It returned in 2018. The Golden Stag Festival takes place during the summer and is broadcast live by Romanian TV station TVR1. Jonas Gladnikoff (born 11 January 1985) is a Swedish songwriter and music producer. Born in Täby, he began songwriting at an early age. Later in life he moved to Åland in Finland before eventually moving to Stockholm. He has written several songs for singers from across Europe, but is best known for writing entries for the Eurovision Song Contest and for various national pre-selections. He studied songwriting at the Music Production Academy Musikmakarna, graduating in 2006. In 2009 he co-wrote the song that represented Ireland.
