Eleanna Christinaki
Eleanna Christinaki (; born 16 December 1996) is a Greek-Cypriot professional basketball player. She has been selected for the women's senior national team since she was 17 years old and has since acquired 78 caps for her country. She is currently 27 years old and is the second-youngest player to ever be selected for the women's senior national team. Additionally, she has captained the U-20 national team. At the club level, she competes for Olympiacos. In the 2023-2024 season, Eleanna Christinaki was named the MVP of the regular season of the Greek Basketball League. She has played for four Euroleague teams and graduated from the University of Maryland. Known for her versatility, she can score in various ways. Her rebounding and passing have improved tremendously. She is averaging 15.2 points, 7 rebounds, and several assists per game in the EuroCup and national team qualification windows for 2025 Eurobasket. Greek Women's Basketball League
The Greek women's Basketball League, also known as A1 Ethniki (A1 National) Women's Basketball is the most important competition of Greek women's professional basketball. It is organised by the EOK (Hellenic Basketball Federation). It began with the 1967–68 season. The first championship of the league, which was held in the 1967–68 season, was organised by ΕΟΑΠ (Greek language, Greek: ''Ελληνική Ομοσπονδία Αθλοπαιδιών''). Two years later, the Hellenic Basketball Federation, EOK assumed control of the competition. The 2015 EuroBasket Women, European Women Basketball Championship, commonly called EuroBasket Women 2015, was the 35th edition of the continental tournament in women's basketball, sanctioned by the FIBA Europe.
