Eldrid Erdal
Eldrid Erdal (30 January 1901 – 1 December 1997) was a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party. She was born in Naustdal. She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Møre og Romsdal during the term 1961–1965. The Liberal Party ( no, Venstre, lit=Left, V; se, Gurutbellodat) is a centrist political party in Norway. It was founded in 1884 and it is the oldest political party in Norway. It is positioned in the centre on the political spectrum, and it is a liberal party which has over the time enacted reforms such as parliamentarism, freedom of religion, universal suffrage, and state schooling. For most of the late 19th and early 20th century, it was Norway's largest and dominant political party, but in the postwar era it lost most of its support and became a relatively small party. Naustdal
Naustdal is a former municipality in the old Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It was located in the traditional district of Sunnfjord. The administrative centre was the village of Naustdal, which has 1,188 inhabitants (2017). Other villages in Naustdal include Indrevevring and Helle. The municipality became part of Sunnfjord Municipality in Vestland county on 1 January 2020. Naustdal was situated between the towns of Førde and Florø, along the Norwegian National Road 5 highway.
