Eldred Byerly
Biography Eldred William "Bud" Byerly (October 26, 1919 – January 26, 2012) was an American professional baseball pitcher, who played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Senators, Boston Red Sox and San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). The right-hander, a native of Webster Groves, Missouri, was listed as tall and . Although he never pitched more than 95 innings in a regular season, Byerly played for five Major League teams in a span of 17 years (1944–60). In 1957 while with the Senators, Byerly posted career-highs with six wins and six saves. In his 11-season major league career, Byerly had a 22–22 record with a 3.70 ERA and 14 saves in 237 appearances. Eldred Hallas
Eldred Hallas (1870 – 13 June 1926) was a British politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Birmingham Duddeston from 1918 to 1922. Life Born and educated in Yorkshire, Hallas moved to Birmingham in 1906 where he became leader of the Birmingham Municipal Employees Union. In 1911 he was elected as an independent socialist to the Birmingham Town Council for Duddeston and Nechells ward . During World War I, he became associated with the British Workers League which later became the National Democratic and Labour Party (NDP). In the 1918 general election, Hallas was elected with the Coalition coupon for the NDP in the new Birmingham Duddeston constituency. However, he soon became disillusioned with the Lloyd George Government and joined the Labour Party in October 1919, becoming Birmingham's first Labour MP. Eldred Hawken (born 2 May 1989) is a South African cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Northerns in the 2012–13 CSA Provincial Three-Day Competition on 17 January 2013. In August 2017, he was named in Pretoria Mavericks' squad for the first season of the T20 Global League. However, in October 2017, Cricket South Africa initially postponed the tournament until November 2018, with it being cancelled soon after. Eldred Henry (born 18 September 1994) is an athlete from the British Virgin Islands competing in the shot put and discus throw. Merritt Eldred Hoag
Merritt Eldred Hoag (May 25, 1909 – November 19, 1994) was a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy during World War II as well as the 11th president of University of North Georgia (now known as the University of North Georgia). Early life Hoag grew up and attended grade school in Pennsylvania. Following high school he enrolled in Edinboro College and subsequently Duke University, where he earned a master's degree in economics and English. He then had a brief career as a principal, and later a dean, of masonic school in Texas. Hoag joined the United States Navy at the beginning of the Second World War. He spent the early years of the war organizing pre-flight schools at the University of Georgia, the University of North Carolina, and the University of Iowa.
