The Elbtower is a partially built skyscraper east of the HafenCity borough of Hamburg, Germany. Construction began in 2021 and was halted in 2023 due to bankruptcy of the main financier Rene Benko of Signa Holdings. If completed, the tower would have a height of . This list of tallest buildings in Hamburg ranks high-rise buildings and some important landmarks that reach a height of 50 meters (164 feet). The tallest freestanding structure in the city is the 279-meter-high Heinrich-Hertz-Turm, a television tower built in 1968. Hamburg's city centre is dominated by church towers; Hamburg is the city with the most churches taller than 100 meters. High-rise buildings, on the other hand, are found in smaller clusters in the HafenCity, at Berliner Tor in St. Georg, in the Hafenkrone in St. Pauli and in Mundsburg in Hamburg-Nord. The Bismarck Monument () in Hamburg is a memorial sculpture located in the St. Pauli quarter dedicated to Otto von Bismarck. It is one of 240 Bismarck monument, memorials to Bismarck worldwide and is the largest and probably best-known of these Bismarck towers.
