Elaine Eksvärd
Elaine Eksvärd (; born 26 July 1981) is a Swedish author who writes about rhetoric. She has a BA degree in rhetoric from Södertörn University, and she has written five books about the subject. Her two first books were released under her maiden name Bergqvist. In 2016 she published ''Medan han lever'', which received a great deal of attention as in the book she accuses her father of sexual abuse during her upbringing. Eksvärd also works as a consultant, and she was SVT's rhetoric expert during the coverage of the 2008 US Presidential election Presidential elections were held in the United States on November 4, 2008. Rhetoric
Rhetoric is the art of persuasion. It is one of the three ancient arts of discourse ( trivium) along with grammar and logic/ dialectic. As an academic discipline within the humanities, rhetoric aims to study the techniques that speakers or writers use to inform, persuade, and motivate their audiences. Rhetoric also provides heuristics for understanding, discovering, and developing arguments for particular situations. Södertörn University
Södertörn University (, abbreviated as SH), is a public university college () located in Flemingsberg in Huddinge Municipality, and the larger area called Södertörn, in Stockholm County, Sweden.
