Elaheh Ahmadi (, born May 31, 1982, in Tehran) is an Iranian sport shooter. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she reached the final in the women's 10 metre air rifle and also competed in the 50 metre rifle 3 positions. 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games () was a multinational, multi-sport event that was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from May 12 to 22, 2017. Previously, the event was held in Saudi Arabia in 2005 and Indonesia in 2013. The second event, originally scheduled to take place in October 2009 in Iran, was later rescheduled but then cancelled. The Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) is responsible for the direction and control of the Islamic Solidarity Games. Bidding In October 2012, the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan submitted its bid for the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games during the 18th Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation meeting held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 2005 West Asian Games
The 3rd West Asian Games were to be held from 7 to 17 April 2003 in Damascus, Syria. However, they were postponed and then cancelled. On 4 April 2002 the West Asian Games Federation decided that the Games would be held every four years, instead of two, namely one year before the Asian Games. 2015 Asian Shooting Championships
The 2015 Asian Shooting Championships was held in Kuwait between November 1 and November 12. This tournament was supposed to be an Asian qualifying tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. However, this qualification event lost its Rio Olymipics qualification status when the IOC suspended Kuwait NOC for government interference. Yair Davidovitz an Israeli International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) technical delegate, was slated to supervise the event in Kuwait for the ISSF in 2015. Kuwait rejected the Israeli's visa for the 2015 Asian Shooting Championships which was originally the tournament that would offer Asian quotas for the 2016 Rio Olympics, and Davidovitz was backed by the International Olympic Committee and the ISSF, and the qualifiers were moved to New Delhi, India.
