"El último vals" (''The Last Waltz'') is the first single from the album A las cinco en el Astoria by the Spanish pop/rock group La Oreja de Van Gogh. It is also the first single released after the departure of the former lead singer of the group Amaia Montero and with the new singer Leire Martínez. Amaia Montero Saldías (; born 26 August 1976) is a Spanish singer and songwriter mainly known as the former vocalist of the Spanish pop-band La Oreja de Van Gogh between 1996 and 2007. Amaia has sung in a variety of languages, including Basque, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, French and English. She also wrote some of the most successful singles of the band on their original versions, including "Mariposa" (2000) and "Puedes Contar Conmigo" (2003) among many others. Leire Martínez Ochoa (born 22 June 1979 in Errenteria, Gipuzkoa), is a Spanish singer, songwriter and the lead vocalist of the band La Oreja de Van Gogh from 2008 to 2024. She participated in the television show Factor X in 2007 performing covers of Julieta Venegas, Vanessa Paradis and Lisa Stansfield. She was eliminated on the 6th week. In 2008, after her performances in Factor X, Leire was selected to replace Amaia Montero in La Oreja de Van Gogh.
