Nickname
A nickname, in some circumstances also known as a sobriquet, or informally a "moniker", is an informal substitute for the proper name of a person, place, or thing, used to express affection, playfulness, contempt, or a particular character trait. Abraham Ancer
Abraham Ancer (; born 27 February 1991) is a Mexican-American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and is currently playing on the LIV Golf tour. He won the 2018 Emirates Australian Open and the 2021 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational for his first PGA Tour career victory. In 2024 he won the LIV Golf Hong Kong for his first individual win on the LIV Golf Tour. Amateur career Ancer was born in McAllen, Texas; raised partially in Reynosa, Mexico; and has dual American and Mexican citizenship. He attended Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas. He played college golf at Odessa College and the University of Oklahoma, from which he graduated in 2013 with a degree in General Studies. Julio Daniel Asad (; born 7 June 1953) is an Argentine former football player and manager. He played as a midfielder, and participated with Argentina in the 1975 Copa América. Asad was nicknamed "El Turco" due to his Syrian and Lebanese ethnicity. In Argentina, Arabs were mistakenly called Turks, since they came to Argentina with Ottoman Turkish documents in the 1900s. Omar Andrés Asad (born 9 April 1971) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a forward. He is the current manager of Ecuadorian club El Nacional. As a player, Asad spent all of his career in Vélez Sársfield, winning 8 titles with the club (including both the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup). Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez (; born 24 July 1981) is a Salvadoran politician and businessman who has served as the 81st president of El Salvador since 2019. In 1999, Bukele established an advertising company and worked at an advertising company owned by his father, Armando Bukele Kattán. Jorge Antonio Cafrune (Perico Del Carmen, Jujuy, August 8, 1937 – Buenos Aires, February 1, 1978) was one of the most popular Argentine folklorist singers of his time, as well as an unflagging researcher, compiler, and diffuser of the native culture. Biography Jorge Cafrune was born in the ''estancia'' "La Matilde" of El Sunchal, El Carmen, Jujuy in a family of Syrian–Lebanese origin. He completed his secondary studies in San Salvador de Jujuy, during which he took guitar classes with Nicolás Lamadrid. Álvaro Fayad Delgado a.k.a. "The Turk" (; July 24, 1946 – March 13, 1986) was a Colombian guerrilla who co-founded and lead the 19th of April movement (M-19), founded in 1970. Early life Fayad was born in Ulloa Valley on July 24, 1946, and grew up in Cartago, Valle del Cauca. He obtained his high school diploma from the Seminary of Santa Rosa, and entered the National University of Colombia in 1965 to study psychology. There he met fellow militant Camilo Torres Restrepo. Fayad entered the Colombian Communist Youth (JUCO) and there met Jaime Bateman Cayón, an influential figure in his life. He and Bateman joined the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, where they remained until the end of 1969, when they entered the National Popular Alliance. Claudio Omar ''Turco'' García (born 24 August 1963) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a right winger. He made 13 appearances for the Argentine national team, scoring three goals. Playing career Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, García started his professional career in 1980 with Club Atlético Huracán in Buenos Aires. He stayed with the club until their relegation from the Argentine Primera at the end of the 1985–1986 season.
