El Paso Dodgers
"El Paso Diablos" refers to two different professional baseball teams based in El Paso, Texas, in the United States. The most recent Diablos were a member of the South Division of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball. From 1990 to 2013, the Diablos, in both incarnations, played their home games at Cohen Stadium. The team's name means "devils" in the Spanish language. Santa Rita is a ghost town in Grant County in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The site of Chino copper mine, Santa Rita was located east of Silver City. Timothy Evald Johnson (born July 22, 1949) is an American former professional baseball player and manager. A shortstop and utility infielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1973 to 1979, he became better known as manager of the Toronto Blue Jays.
