El Nervio Del Volcán
''El nervio del volcán'' is the fourth and final album by Mexican Rock en español, rock band Caifanes, released in the summer of 1994. With bassist Sabo Romo and keyboardist Diego Herrera out of the band since the previous year, Saúl Hernández (vocals), Alfonso André (drums), and Alejandro Marcóvich (guitars) were the remaining band members left to record Caifanes' fourth studio album in Los Angeles, California between February and April 1994. The album included the hit singles "Afuera" and "Aquí no es así". A tour began throughout Mexico, United States, Central America, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina, ultimately ending with the band dissolving on August 18, 1995 on their final show in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Jerry Goodman (born March 16, 1949) is an American violinist known for playing electric violin with The Flock (band), The Flock and the jazz fusion ensemble Mahavishnu Orchestra. Career Jerry Goodman was born on March 16, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois. His parents were both members of the string section of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and his uncle was the noted composer and jazz pianist Marty Rubenstein. Stuart Hamm (born February 8, 1960) is an American bass guitar player, known for his session and live work with numerous artists as well as for his unconventional playing style and solo recordings. Career Born in New Orleans, Hamm spent his childhood and youth in Champaign, Illinois, where he studied bass and piano, played in the stage band at Champaign Central High School, and was selected to the Illinois All-State Band. Jaguares (rock Band)
Jaguares were a Mexican people, Mexican alternative rock band formed by former Caifanes lead singer Saúl Hernández, ex-Caifan Alfonso André (drums), and two long-time friends Federico Fong (bass guitar) and José Manuel Aguilera (lead guitar). History Jaguares got their name from one of vocalist Saúl Hernández's dreams, in which he was singing in a jaguar's mouth. Soon after the release of their hit debut album, ''El Equilibrio de los Jaguares'', Hernández took a break after suffering papiloma virus cancer.
