(, "The Financial") is a Mexican national daily newspaper covering business and the financial markets. It is owned by Grupo Multimedia Lauman, S.A.P.I. de C.V. and has offices in the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City. History began publication on October 15, 1981. It was founded by Rogelio Cárdenas Sarmiento, whose father, Rogelio Cárdenas Pérez Redondo, had also worked in the newspaper business for ''Últimas Noticias'' and '' Excélsior'', and originally had a staff of 35. It was the country's first daily financial newspaper. Business is the practice of making one's living or making money by producing or buying and selling products (such as goods and services). It is also "any activity or enterprise entered into for profit." A business entity is not necessarily separate from the owner and the creditors can hold the owner liable for debts the business has acquired except for limited liability company.
