El Abayarde Contraataca
''El Abayarde Contraataca'' is the third studio album by Tego Calderón. It was released on August 28, 2007. The tracks in the album are a fusion of African and Caribbean rhythms, including salsa, merengue, Colombian and Venezuelan sounds. Tego's first single is " Tradicional A Lo Bravo", produced by Almonte and is proposed from his MySpace page. This album received a nomination for a Grammy Award for Best Latin Urban Album. Release and promotion Tego Calderón released three singles for ''El Abayarde Contraataca'', and they were all major singles. All three singles have music videos, though the " Quitarte To'" single didn't have as much airplay as the others. Tegui Calderón Rosario (born February 1, 1972) is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and actor. He began his musical career in 1996 (as Tego Tec) and was supported by the famous Puerto Rican rapper Eddie Dee, who invited him on his second studio album, ''El Terrorista De La LÃrica'', released in 2000. Calderón reached international success in 2003 with his first album, '' El Abayarde'', which sold 300,000 copies worldwide and was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award. Aventura is an American bachata group formed in The Bronx, New York. With the lineup always consisting of the members Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos (Len Melody), and Max Santos (Max Agende), they are regarded as one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. All of the members are of Dominican descent, although Romeo is also half Puerto Rican on his mother's side. They were the first major bachata act to have originated in the United States instead of the Dominican Republic. Julio Voltio (born as Julio Irving Ramos Filomeno on June 11, 1977 in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican former reggaeton artist. A pioneer of the reggaeton genre, Voltio retired from music in 2014 and dedicated himself to preaching Christianity. His nickname came to be as the result of an accident. Before joining Karel, he worked as an electrician. One day, he stuck his hand in the wrong place and got shocked. Ñejo & Dálmata, also known as Ñejo y Dálmata, are a reggaeton duo from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ñejo was born June 20, 1975 & Dálmata was born February 27, 1979.
