Eko Heritage Awards
The Eko Heritage Awards was established in 2021 and is endorsed by the Lagos State Government. The Award celebrates and appreciates promoters of the Lagos State's cultural heritage which includes individuals and organisations from different sectors of the economy like Fashion, Agriculture, Media and also the Oil and Gas industries. The award is presented by Ivory forte entertainment and it is in two segments; The Honorary award category and the Online Voting Category. Lagos State
Lagos State ( yo, Ìpínlẹ̀ Èkó) is a state in southwestern Nigeria. Of the 36 states, it is both the most populous and smallest in area. Mr Ideal Nigeria which was established in 2010 is an annual pageant that empowers young men in Nigeria physically, socially and economically. The winner of Mr Ideal Nigeria automatically represents Nigeria at Mister Africa International. Mr Ideal Nigeria emerged best male pageant brand of the year at the Eko Heritage awards in 2023. Nollywood
Nollywood is a sobriquet that originally referred to the Nigerian film industry. The origin of the term dates back to the early 2000s, traced to an article in ''The New York Times''. Due to the history of evolving meanings and contexts, there is no clear or agreed-upon definition for the term, which has made it a subject of several controversies. Surulere
Surulere is a residential and commercial Local Government Area located on the mainland of Lagos in Lagos State, Nigeria, with an area of . At the last census in the year 2006, there were 503,975 inhabitants, with a population density of 21,864 inhabitants per square kilometer.
