Ekebyhov
Ekebyhov Castle (''Ekebyhovs slott'') is a former manor in Ekerö Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden. The facility has been owned by Ekerö municipality since 1980 and has been the site of Ekebyhovs Äppelgenbank since 1998. Much of SVT's Christmas calendar ''Mirakel'' (2020) was shot at Ekebyhov Castle. Ekerö Municipality
Ekerö Municipality ( sv, Ekerö kommun) is a municipality in the province of Uppland in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. The name derives from the name of the main island within the municipality whose name is Ekerön, and literally means "Oak Island". Its seat is located in the town of Ekerö. The King of Sweden resides in Ekerö Municipality, at Drottningholm Palace (see below). Originally, when the first local government acts were implemented in Sweden in 1863, eight rural municipalities were created, each corresponding to an old parish. The municipal reform of 1952 grouped them in two new larger entities. The next reform in 1971 merged them into the present municipality. Geography Ekerö is the only municipality in the Lake Mälaren region composed exclusively of islands. Mirakel
''Mirakel'' (''Miracle'') was the 2020 Sveriges Television's Christmas Calendar. It started airing on 1 December 2020, and ended on 24 December the same year. Plot In a laboratory in Sweden before Christmas 2020, the scientists Anna-Carin Davidsson-Colt and Vilgot develop an artificial black hole to be used as an energy source. The black hole is accidentally released and ends up in the rafters of an HVB home where the orphan Mira lives. Mira is soon to be adopted, but does not want to be separated from her friend Galad. Exactly 100 years earlier (in 1920) and in the same building, then a mansion, the upper-class girl Rakel Colt is getting ready to be photographed with her family. Mira and Rakel both stumble upon the black hole and are involuntarily pulled in by it, switching bodies and time periods.
