Anita Ekberg
Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (; 29 September 193111 January 2015) was a Swedish actress active in American and European films, known for her beauty and stunning figure. She became prominent in her iconic role as Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film ''La Dolce Vita'' (1960). Ekberg worked primarily in Italy, where she became a permanent resident in 1964. Early life Anita Ekberg was born on 29 September 1931, in Malmö, Skåne (Sweden), the sixth of eight children. In her teens, Anita worked as a fashion model. Ekberg entered the Miss Malmö competition in 1950 at her mother's urging. This led to the Miss Sweden contest which she won. Despite speaking very little English, she went to the United States to compete for the 1951 Miss Universe title (an unofficial pageant at that time, the pageant became official in 1952). Oskar Ekberg (born 19 February 1977, in Södertälje) is a Swedish pianist basically active as a performer at the Swedish concert scene. He has shown particular interest in Olivier Messiaen's and Johan Helmich Roman's music, the latter recorded on Daphne Records. He has also recently recorded the complete piano music of Elfrida Andrée Elfrida Andrée (19 February 1841 – 11 January 1929), was a Swedish organist, composer, and conductor. Stefan Ekberg (born 21 January 1972 in Motala, Sweden) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. Career Ekberg is a full Swedish international, making his debut in 1994. He previously rode in the UK for the Oxford Cheetahs and the Eastbourne Eagles, where he won the Elite League Championship in 1995. He returned to the British Premier League with the Glasgow Tigers after a ten-year absence in 2005. Sten Anders Ekberg (born 25 December 1964 in Täby, Sweden) is a former decathlon athlete who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics for Sweden and was a Swedish decathlete National Record holder. Sten Ekberg won the Swedish Championship in both decathlon and heptathlon. Ekberg currently resides in the United States where he works as a chiropractor and nutritionist at his office Wellness For Life in Cumming, Georgia. Ulf Gunnar Ekberg (born 6 December 1970), also known as Buddha, is a Swedish singer-songwriter, musician, businessman and television and film producer, best known as a founding member of the pop group Ace of Base, along with siblings Jonas Berggren, Linn Berggren and Jenny Berggren. Life and career Ace of Base released its debut album in 1992 and went on to attain major chart success throughout the 1990s. Ekberg played an integral part in the production of the ''Happy Nation'' album, co-writing nearly all of the album's tracks.
