Ek Naya Rishta
Ek Naya Rishta () is a 1988 Indian drama film. The film was produced and directed by Vinod Pande, starring Rekha, Raj Kiran, Mazhar Khan and Om Shivpuri among others. The film is a modern take on relationships, business, independence, interdependence and the institution of marriage and hints at indirect surrogacy. It was perhaps the first movie of its time to talk about surrogacy. It also highlighted how society forces the helpless to fall prey to the murky business of prostitution. Plot Womanizer and alcoholic Rajiv Tandon lives a wealthy lifestyle with his widowed industrialist dad, Shankardayal in a palatial house. Rajiv is not interested in marriage, or in any permanent relationship with any woman. His dad dies, he wills that all his wealth and money will only be inherited by Rajiv after he gets a son within 18 months of his death. Vinod Pande
Vinod Pande (also known as Vinod Pandey) is an Indian film director, actor, producer and writer. Biography Pande was born in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where his father was working as a doctor at a government dispensary. Pande studied social work in Udaipur and came to Bombay in the early 1960s. There he worked for All India Radio, among others. In May 1966, he moved to London, where he worked at the advertising agency Image Enterprises, for which he made several commercials. He also worked as a Hindi news anchor at the BBC. For the British Film Institute he made his first documentary in Hindi, ''London Me Bharat'', in 1972, which deals with the everyday life of South Asian British people in the London suburbs (Southall). In 1980, he made his first Hindi film ''Ek Baar Phir'', which was produced entirely in the UK. The film was denied permission to contest in the National Film Awards for this reason. Urmila Bhatt
Urmila Bhatt (1 November 1933 – 22 February 1997) was an actress of Hindi cinema. She started acting in Drama Theatre. She joined Sangeet Kala Academy in Rajkot as a folk dancer and singer. It was during that time that her famous Gujarati drama ''Jesal Toral'' ran to more than a thousand performances. She acted in more than 75 Gujarati films and also in 15 to 20 Rajasthani movies. Bhupinder Singh (born Bhupinder Soin, 6 February 1940 – 18 July 2022) was an Indian musician, a ghazal singer and also a Bollywood playback singer. Zubair Ahmed Siddiqi (5 May 1944 – 28 May 2003), better known as Marc Zuber, was an Indian–British actor, who appeared in many British and Hindi films and television dramas. Chandrashekhar Dubey (4 September 1924 – 28 September 1993) commonly referred to as C. S. Dubey was an Indian actor and radio personality.
