Ek Misaal
''Ek Misaal'' is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Rajesh Varma (a.k.a. Pammy Varma) for producer Vibha Bhatnagar, starring Kanwaljit Singh and Kiran Juneja. After years of working as the assistant director/second-unit director of Manmohan Desai, leading director of the 1970s, Rajesh Varma made his debut as the independent director of ''Ek Misaal''. Plot Despite a bright future, Rekha (Kiran Juneja) gives up her career when she marries Raj (Kanwaljit Singh), a wealthy playboy builder. Soon after words, Raj gets attracted to Bindu (Anjali Sen), throws Rekha out of his life and marries Bindu. Distraught Rekha, with help from her brother Sagar, starts a business that competes with that of Raj. With her hard work and perseverance, this business does very well and grabs many of the building contracts that would have otherwise gone to Raj. Manoj–Gyan
Manoj–Gyan was an Indian musical duo consisting of composers Manoj Bhatnagar and Gyan Varma. In the 1980s, the two collaboratively composed music for a few Hindi-language as well as Tamil-language films. Manoj hails from the state of Uttar Pradesh, while Gyan is from Punjab. About In the 1980s the duo ended up composing for movies like Oomai Vizhigal, Senthoora Poove and Inaindha Kaigal, and these movies had several hit songs. In particular, the song "Tholvi Nilayena Ninaithal" sung by P B Srinivas in the movie Oomai Vizhigal became a runaway hit. The song went on to assume the role of an unofficial anthem of sorts for the LTTE in Sri Lanka. The two split up around 1989. Manmohan Desai (26 February 1937 – 1 March 1994) was an Indian film producer and director. He was one of the most successful filmmaker of the 70s and 80s. Desai is now considered one of most influential film director of Bollywood and a pioneer of making masala film. Family background Manmohan Desai was of Gujarati ancestry. His father, Kikubhai Desai, was an Indian film producer and owner of Paramount Studios (later Filmalaya) from 1931 to 1941. His productions, mainly stunt films, included ''Circus Queen'', ''Golden Gang'', and ''Sheikh Challi''. Asad Bhopali (10 July 1921 – 9 June 1990) was an Indian Hindustani poet and lyricist. Manhar Udhas is a Hindi and Gujarati language singer and Bollywood playback singer. Early life Manhar Udhas is the eldest son of Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas, and the elder brother of singers Pankaj Udhas and Nirmal Udhas. He completed his mechanical engineering training in Gujarat and moved to Mumbai in the late 1960s to look for a job. He was interested in music since childhood. His brother-in-law, who was making Gujarati film in Mumbai, introduced him to Music Director Kalyanji Anandji. Udhas used to hang around Kalyanji Anandji to help them in song recording.
