Ek Hi Raasta (1977 Film)
''Ek Hi Raasta'' ( ''Only One Way'') is a 1977 Hindi-language drama film, produced and directed by Mohan Segal under the Uma Cine Films Pvt Ltd banner. It stars Jeetendra, Shabana Azmi, and music composed by Rajesh Roshan. Plot Atin Singh the son of a nominal Zamindar Raja Kamal Nain Singh works for an automobile company in Bombay and falls for Veena, the daughter of a tycoon, Mr. Chowdary. Once, Kamal Nain Singh sets a match with his daughter Vasna. Whereat, he ploys by finding an alliance with Atin for the dowry and compels him to knit with a benevolent Ketki. Soon after, Atin returns to Veena to divulge the mishap and promises to wedlock her. Accordingly, he reaches the village, and that night unintentionally he consummates with Ketki. Ravi Kapoor ( ; born 7 April 1942), known mononymously by his screen name Jeetendra, is an Indian actor who is known for his work in Hindi cinema. He also serves as the chairman of the Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures. Early life Jeetendra was born in a Punjabi Khatri family as Ravi Kapoor in Amritsar, Punjab, to Amarnath and Krishna Kapoor, whose business dealt with imitation jewellery, supplied to film industry. Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman's death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows. A National School of Drama, New Delhi alumnus, Shivpuri became the first chief of the National School of Drama Repertory Company (1964) and one of its actors.
