Ejner Johansson
Ejner Bainkamp Johansson (7 March 1922 – 28 September 2001) was a Danish art historian, writer, and documentary film director. He was also a 1998 N. L. Høyen Medal recipient. Early life Ejner Bainkamp Johansson was born in 1922 in Copenhagen. His father, Axel Johansson, had emigrated from Furuby in Kronoberg, Sweden, to Denmark and became a naturalised Danish citizen and married the Dane Margarethe Hansine Hansen. Hirschsprung Collection
The Hirschsprung Collection ( Danish: Den Hirschsprungske Samling) is an art museum located on Stockholmsgade in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located in a parkland setting in Østre Anlæg, near the Danish National Gallery, and houses a large collection of Danish art from the 19th and early 20th century. The emphasis is on the Danish Golden Age, from 1800 to 1850, but also the Skagen Painters and other representatives of the Modern Breakthrough are well represented. The museum is built around the personal art collection of Heinrich Hirschsprung, a tobacco manufacturer and patron of the arts who founded his art collection in 1865. Denmark's Radio
DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR shares many of its organisational characteristics with its British counterpart, the BBC, on which it was largely modelled. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union.
