is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tooru Fujisawa. It was published in Kodansha's manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' from October 1990 to October 1996, compiled in 31 volumes. A 15-volume edition was released from May to December 2005. The story follows the youth of Eikichi Onizuka and his best friend Ryuji Danma while they are still in high school but have already formed their shock duo the Oni-Baku Combi. Multiple adaptations were established during the series’ run, such as a five-episode original video animation (OVA) series released on VHS from 1994 to 1997, a television drama, and several live action movies. Takushiro Hattori
was an Imperial Japanese Army officer and government official. During World War II, he alternately served as the chief of the Army General Staff's Operations Section and Secretary to Prime Minister Hideki Tojo. After the war ended, he served as an adviser on military matters to the postwar Japanese government. Early life Takushiro Hattori was born on January 2, 1901, in Tsuruoka, a city in the Japanese prefecture of Yamagata. Upon completing his education at the Imperial Military Academy in 1922, he enrolled in the Japanese Army War College from which he graduated in 1930. In 1935, he traveled to Africa, where he acted as the Japanese military's observer during the Italian invasion of Ethiopia. On'yado Kawasemi or On-yado Kawasemi () is a Japanese series of novels written by Yumie Hiraiwa and dramas and a play based on it. It is set in "Kawasemi" ("kingfisher" in Japanese), an inn in Ōkawabata, Edo (now Sumida, Tokyo). It was serialised in a magazine ''Shosetsu Sunday Mainichi'' from 1973 but was interrupted because of the discontinuance of the magazine. Shishido Baiken
Shishido (宍戸) is the family name of a Japanese swordsman believed to have been active in the early years of the Edo period (1603–1868). Legend has it that he was a skilled practitioner of the kusarigama (a metal chain attached to a kama and a weight, also known as the chain and sickle), and around the year 1607, he fought a duel against the swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, in which he was killed. It is debatable whether Shishido actually existed or not. Author William Scott Wilson, in his 2004 book, '' The Lone Samurai'', wrote, "In 1607, Musashi was passing through the province of Iga when he met a man known only by his family name, Shishido, who was a master of the sickle and chain."
