Eirin Maria Kvandal
Eirin Maria Kvandal (born 12 December 2001) is a Norwegian ski jumper. Youth Kvandal comes from Vefsn, near Mosjøen. Inspired by her father she started ski jumping with an age of five years. Since an age of 15 years she lives in Trondheim. Kvandal suffered from scoliosis due to genetic factors and had a back surgery in December 2018 to straighten her spinal column. Career Kvandal represents the club Mosjøen IL. She competed at the Junior World Championships in 2018 and 2020, winning a silver medal from the mixed team competition at the latter championship. She made her Continental Cup debut in September 2018 and managed two top-10 placements in January and February 2020. Kvandal belonged to the team for the Raw Air 2020 and started in Trondheim, where she reached 2nd place in training and 18th place in the qualification. Mosjøen IL
Mosjøen Idrettslag is a Norwegian sports club from the town of Mosjøen in Vefsn Municipality, Nordland county. It has sections for association football, gymnastics and skiing. Mosjøen Turnforening (gymnastics) was founded in 1892, and this is also regarded as the foundation year of the current club. Mosjøen Fotballklubb (football) was founded separately in 1909. 2022–23 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup
The 2022–23 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 44th FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 26th official World Cup season in ski flying, and the 12th World Cup season for women. The men's season was the longest in the World Cup history; it started in November 2022 in Wisła, Poland and concluded in April 2023 in Planica, Slovenia. The women's season also started in Wisła and concluded in Lahti, Finland. Ryōyū Kobayashi (men's) and Marita Kramer (women's) were the defending overall champions from the 2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, previous season. The Raw Air 2024 was the seventh edition of Raw Air for men and the fifth edition for women, an eight-day tournament in ski jumping and ski flying held across Norway between 8 and 17 March 2024. The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup is the world's highest level of ski jumping and the FIS Ski Flying World Cup as the subdivisional part of the competition. The Raw Air 2020 is the fourth edition of Raw Air for men, a ten-day tournament for men in ski jumping and ski flying held across Norway between 6–15 March 2020; and the 2nd edition for women, a six-day tournament in ski jumping held across Norway between 7–12 March 2020.
