Einar Blidberg
Vice Admiral Carl Einar Blidberg (20 September 1906 – 21 March 1993) was a Swedish Navy officer. Blidberg served as Chief of the Naval Staff from 1957 to 1961, Chief of the Coastal Fleet from 1962 to 1966, and as commanding officer of the Naval Command East and the East Coast Naval Base from 1966 to 1971. Early life Blidberg was born on 20 September 1906 in Kramfors, Sweden, the son of Tage Blidberg and his wife Ragnhild (née Ekelund). In 1923, Blidberg served as an extra cadet on the coastal defence ship when the Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf went to London for the engagement with Louise Mountbatten, our future queen. Einar Galilea Azaceta (born 22 May 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Croatian club NK Istra 1961 as either a central defender or a midfielder. Einar Forseth
Carl Einar Andreas Forseth (1892–1988) was a Swedish artist, remembered above all for his mosaics in the Golden Hall in Stockholm City Hall completed in 1923. Early life Born in Linköping, Forseth was the son of the Norwegian lithographer Ole Andreas Forseth. He was raised in Örebro where his father ran a lithographic business. In 1905 the family moved to Gothenburg where he attended the Arts and Crafts School (Slöjdföreningens Skola) studying under Gunnar Hallström, Anders Trulsson and Charles Lindholm. He completed his education at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm (1912-1915) under Olle Hjortzberg and Oscar Björck. Biography During his travels to Istanbul, Greece and Italy, he developed an interest in monumental and decorative art which extended to frescos, textiles and oil paintings. Einar Førde
Einar Førde (20 January 1943 – 26 September 2004) was a Norwegian journalist and politician of the Labour Party. He served as Minister of Education and Church Affairs from 1979 to 1981, and director-general of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) from 1989 to 2001. He was also vice-chairman of the Norwegian Labour Party 1981–1989. As director of the NRK Førde became a prominent public figure, often known for fearlessly speaking his mind as a knowledgeable political analyst and public debater. After his death Kåre Willoch, former prime minister from the Conservative Party, called him a ground-breaker in society, combining great force of mind with warmth and humour. Førde was also known for appearing in TV-shows on NRK, lampooning his own character. Førde died of cancer in 2004, at the age of 61. In his youth, Førde was a middle-distance runner. Einar Fagstad (30 October 1899 in Lillehammer – 19 February 1961 in Göteborg) was a Norwegian–Swedish accordionist, singer, actor and composer. Fagstad began playing accordion aged four. He trained as a painter and studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (1916–1917). He was employed as an accompanist from 1923 by Ernst Rolf who produced a series of musical revues. Sven Einar Englund (June 17, 1916 – June 27, 1999) was a Finnish composer. Life Sven Einar Englund was born at Ljugarn in Gotland, Sweden, on June 17, 1916; he died June 27, 1999, in Visby, Sweden. He married twice: in 1941 to Meri Mirjam Gyllenbögel, who died 1956 (they had one son and two daughters including the ballerina and choreographer Sorella Englund); and in 1958 he married Maynie Sirén, a singer, with whom he had one son. One of the most important Finnish symphonists since Jean Sibelius, Englund was a native Swedish speaker who often felt that his career was sidelined from the mainstream of Finnish music. He went to Svenska normallyceum i Helsingfors and was 17 when he began studies at the Helsinki Conservatory (now the Sibelius Academy) in 1933.
