Egil Solin Ranheim
Egil Solin Ranheim (3 September 1923, in Vinje – 29 June 1992) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Buskerud during the terms 1965–1969 and 1969–1973. From March 1971 to October 1972 he served as a regular representative meanwhile Ragnar Christiansen was appointed to the first cabinet Bratteli. From November 1972 Ranheim filled in for Guri Johannessen who had died. On the local level Ranheim was a member of the executive committee of Modum Modum is a municipality in Buskerud in Viken county, Norway. Vinje
Vinje is a municipality in Telemark in the county of Vestfold og Telemark in Norway. It is part of the traditional regions of Upper Telemark and Vest-Telemark. The administrative center of the municipality is the village of Åmot. General information Name The municipality of Vinje (originally a parish) is named after the old ''Vinje'' farm (Old Norse: ''Vinjar''), since the first church was built there. The Labour Party ( nb, Arbeiderpartiet; nn, Arbeidarpartiet; A/Ap; se, Bargiidbellodat), formerly The Norwegian Labour Party ( no, Det norske Arbeiderparti, DNA), is a social-democratic political party in Norway. Storting
The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Buskerud
Buskerud () is a former county and a current electoral district in Norway, bordering Akershus, Oslo, Oppland, Sogn og Fjordane, Hordaland, Telemark and Vestfold. The region extends from the Oslofjord and Drammensfjorden in the southeast to Hardangervidda mountain range in the northwest. The county administration was in modern times located in Drammen. Buskerud was merged with Akershus and Østfold into the newly created Viken County on 1 January 2020. On the 23 February 2022 Viken County Council voted in a 49 against 38 decision to submit an application to the Norwegian government for a county demerger. Ragnar Christiansen
Ragnar Karl Viktor Christiansen (28 December 1922 in Drammen – 17 February 2019) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Early life He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway during the terms 1950–1953 and 1954–1957. When taking seat as a deputy in Parliament in 1950, at the age of 27 he was the youngest MP in Norway ever. He was later elected to Parliament from Buskerud in 1957, and was re-elected four times to serve five terms. Christiansen held several ministerial portfolios through the years; he was appointed Minister of Finance in 1971–1972 during Bratteli's First Cabinet and Minister of Transport and Communications in 1976–1978 during Nordli's Cabinet. Guri Johannessen
Guri Johannessen (2 November 1911 – 11 November 1972) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She was born in Hol. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Buskerud in 1958, and was re-elected on three occasions. She died before her fourth term had finished, and was replaced by Egil Solin Ranheim. Modum
Modum is a municipality in Buskerud in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Vikersund. The municipality of Modum was established on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The area has a long tradition of skiing with several famous skiers.
