Egil Lærum
Egil Lærum (11 August 1921 – 27 November 1954) was a Norwegian footballer, ski jumper and athlete. In association football, he played the wing half position for the clubs Vålerenga IF Fotball, Vålerengen and Larvik Turn & IF, Larvik Turn. Eika also won 16 caps for Norway national football team, Norway. In ski jumping, he won the "women's cup" in 1947 and finished eighth in the Holmenkollen Ski Festival, Holmenkollen event in 1948. He represented the clubs Stranden IL and Vikersund IF in skiing. In athletics, he won the Norwegian junior championship in javelin throw in 1946. He represented Larvik Turn in athletics as well. He also competed in team handball, bandy, gymnastics, human swimming, swimming and dogsled racing. He was awarded the prize for versatility, Egebergs Ærespris, in 1950. The Egebergs Ærespris ("Honorary Prize of Egeberg") is a prize awarded to Norway, Norwegian athletes who excel in more than one sport. The prize was created by Ferdinand Julian Egeberg, and consists of a bronze statuette modelled by sculptor Magnus Vigrestad. Hjalmar Andersen
Hjalmar "Hjallis" Johan Andersen (12 March 1923 – 27 March 2013) was a speed skater from Norway who won three gold medals at the 1952 Winter Olympic Games of Oslo, Norway. He was the only triple gold medalist at the 1952 Winter Olympics, and as such, became the most successful athlete there. Nicknamed ''King Glad'' for his famous cheerful mood, he was one of Norway's most popular sportsmen ever. Four statues of him were raised during his lifetime; in Trondheim, Hamar, Rødøy and outside Bislett Stadium in Oslo. He was honored with a funeral at the state’s expense. Martin Stokken
Martin Stokken (16 January 1923 – 25 March 1984) was a Norwegian cross-country skier who competed at the 1948 and 1952 Summer and 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics. At the Summer Olympics he ran 5000 m and 10,000 m, finishing fourth in the latter event in 1948. At the Winter Games he won a silver medal in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1952, placing fourth in 1956. His best individual result was six place in the 18 km in 1952 and in 15 km in 1956. At the world skiing championships Stokken won a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay event in 1950 and placed fourth over 50 km in 1954. In 1954 he also won the 50 km race at the Holmenkollen ski festival and won the Holmenkollen medal. Earlier in 1949 he was awarded the Egebergs Ærespris.
