Stavern
Stavern is a town in Larvik Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The town is located at the mouth of the Larviksfjorden along the Skagerrak coast, about south of the town of Larvik. Historically, Stavern was a self-governing municipality from 1838 until 1988 when it became part of the large Larvik Municipality. The town has a population (2022) of 5,902 and a population density of . Stavern is a small town where tourism is one of the most important sources of income. Archery At The 1972 Summer Olympics
Archery at the 1972 Summer Olympics consisted of two medal events, one for men and one for women. Each event was composed of two FITA rounds. Each of those FITA rounds consisted of the archers shooting 36 arrows at targets at 4 different distances, for a total of 144 arrows. The distances were 90, 70, 50, and 30 metres for men and 70, 60, 50, and 30 metres for women. 18 nations competed in both the men's and women's events, while 3 competed in only the women's and 6 competed only in the men's. The 1972 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XX Olympiad () and officially branded as Munich 1972 (; ), were an international multi-sport event held in Munich, West Germany, from 26 August to 11 September 1972.
