Hermann Eggert
Georg Peter Hermann Eggert (3 January 1844 – 12 March 1920) was a German architect. He designed important public buildings such as the Frankfurt Main Station and the New Town Hall in Hannover, often in the style of Neo-Renaissance. Career Born in Burg bei Magdeburg, Eggert studied with Heinrich Strack at the Bauakademie in Berlin. He worked from 1875 to 1889 as ' in Strasbourg, designing several buildings of the university in the Neustadt such as the observatory, and building the ''Palais du Rhin'' (Emperor's Palace) for Wilhelm II. He built the Frankfurt Main Station from 1883 to 1888, regarded as his most important building. Eggert served as ''Oberbaurat'' in the (Ministry of Public Works) of Prussia in Berlin, where he was mostly responsible for church buildings. He participated in the competition for the New Town Hall in Hannover in 1895, won the second competition a year later and was commissioned to build the exterior. Paul Hermann Otto Eggert (born 4 February 1874 in Tilsit, d. January 20, 1944 in Gdańsk) was a German surveyor and professor of Gdańsk University of Technology (). He was also dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering from 1909 to 1910 and from 1919 to 1920 and the first head of the Department of Geodesy at the Gdańsk University of Technology (1904-1921). Eggert was a professor at Technische Universität Berlin and its rector in 1933–1934. Moritz Eggert (born 25 November 1965 in Heidelberg) is a German composer and pianist. Life Moritz Eggert began his studies in piano and composition in 1975 at Hoch Conservatory, Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium in Frankfurt (with Wolfgang Wagenhaeuser and Claus Kühnl), at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (with Leonard Hokanson) and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich (with Wilhelm Killmayer).
