	Horsens Municipality Horsens Municipality () is a municipality ( Danish: '' kommune'') in Region Midtjylland on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Endelave, and covers an area of 515.2 km2. It has a population of 97,921 (2025). Its mayor is Peter Sørensen, a member of the Social Democratic party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Horsens. History The municipality was created in 1970 due to a ("Municipal Reform") that combined the city of Horsens with a number of existing parishes: On 1 January 2007 Horsens Municipality was, as the result of the Municipal Reform of 2007, merged with existing Brædstrup (except for Voerladegård Parish) and Gedved municipalities to form a new Horsens municipality. 	Ballerup Municipality Ballerup Kommune () is a municipality () in '' Region Hovedstaden'' on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. It is located approximately 15 kilometers from central Copenhagen. The municipality covers an area of 34.09 km2, and has a population of 52,939 (1. January 2025). It is also the name of the municipal seat, Ballerup. Overview As of March 2025, the mayor is Jesper Würtzen of the Social Democrats. Other than Ballerup, the towns that make up the municipality are Måløv and Skovlunde.
