Efthimis Kioumourtzoglou
Efthimis Kioumourtzoglou (Greek: Ευθύμης Κιουμουρτζόγλου; born September 28, 1952 in Thessaloniki, Greece) is a Greek former professional basketball coach. Clubs coaching career Efthimis Kioumourtzoglou has been the head coach of five teams in Greece’s A league. In 1995, Kioumourtzoglou was a EuroLeague semifinalist at the Zaragoza EuroLeague Final Four, where he led his team, Panathinaikos, to a 3rd-place finish. In 1996, he was a FIBA European Cup (FIBA Saporta Cup) finalist, while coaching PAOK. He was also the head coach of Panionios, Aris, and Iraklis. National team coaching career He was Kostas Politis's first assistant in winning the Eurobasket 1987. He took over as head coach of the Greek national team in October 1988 and guided it in 123 matches.
