''Efterlyst'' ("Wanted") is a Swedish television program, equivalent of ''America's Most Wanted ''America's Most Wanted'' (often abbreviated as ''AMW'') is an American television program whose first run was produced by 20th Television, and second run is under the Fox Entertainment#Fox Alternative Entertainment, Fox Alternative Entertain ...''. The show plays security camera footage, reconstructions of crimes, and then takes calls and tips from the Swedish public. Since it was first aired, ''Efterlyst'' has led to the identification and arrest of many of Sweden's most noted criminals. In Swedish prisons, ''Efterlyst'' is commonly referred to as "Golnytt", literally meaning "Snitch-news". The host, Hasse Aro, was, until the season of 2009, assisted by crime-expert Leif G W Persson. Thomas Lennart Bodström (born 9 April 1962) is a Swedish former politician of the Swedish Social Democratic Party. He served as the Swedish Minister for Justice in the two governments of Prime Minister Göran Persson, from 2000 to 2006. Prior to politics he had a career in association football, representing Allsvenskan side AIK between 1987 and 1989. Leif Gustav Willy Persson (born 12 March 1945) is a Swedish criminologist and novelist. Persson has four children, one of whom, Malin Persson Giolito, is also a crime writer. TV3 (''TV tre'') is a Swedish pay television channel owned by Viaplay Group. It was launched on 31 December 1987 by businessman Jan Stenbeck. TV8 (Swedish TV Channel)
TV8 is a television channel owned by Viaplay Group broadcasting to Sweden. It focuses on current affairs, documentaries and drama. The channel was started by the private equity firm Ratos in 1997 and was sold to MTG in 1999. For some years TV8 timeshared with the Scandinavian History Channel in the evening and Bloomberg Television at night and during the day; TV8's own shows were only broadcast during a few hours in the late evening. During the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 Bloomberg was replaced by the Fox News Channel. Fox News continued eventually but in December Bloomberg returned on some key slots during daytime.
