Eero Kilpeläinen (born May 7, 1985) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender who last played for KalPa in the SM-liiga. He was selected by the Dallas Stars in the 5th round (144th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Kilpeläinen leads the SM-liiga in played games (519) and shutouts (56). His number, 37, is retired by KalPa. Erik "Eero" Nikolai Järnefelt (8 November 1863 – 15 November 1937) was a Finnish painter and art professor. He is best known for his portraits and landscapes of the area around Koli National Park, in the North Karelia region of Finland. Eero Huovinen (born 27 October 1944 in Helsinki) is the former Diocese of Helsinki, Bishop of Helsinki in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. Biography Eero Huovinen was born in Helsinki, the son of the Revd Dr Lauri Huovinen (1915–1994), Dean of the Cathedral of Turku. He studied at the University of Helsinki, graduating with a Master of Theology 1970; Licentiate (degree), Licentiate of Theology 1976; and PhD in 1978. Huovinen was ordained into the priesthood in 1970. Between 1970 and 1991 he held various positions at the University of Helsinki Faculty of Theology, including Professor of Dogmatics and Dean of the Faculty. Eero Olavi Heinäluoma (born 4 July 1955) is a Finnish politician who has been serving as Member of the European Parliament since 2019. A former chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Finland, he was replaced in the party's leadership by Jutta Urpilainen in June 2008. He was Speaker of the Parliament of Finland from 2011–2015. The Rasmus is a Finnish Pop music, rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (founder, frontman, lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Eero Olavi Hämeenniemi (born 29 April 1951) is a Finnish composer, musician and writer. He was born in Valkeakoski. He is an adjunct professor at the University of the Arts Helsinki and he has played and recorded solo improvisation concerts. Hämeenniemi has written several books about Carnatic music, South Indian music culture and translated Tamil poetry. Eero Haapalainen ( Russian Эро Эрович Хаапалайнен, ''Ero Erovich Khaapalaynen''; 27 October 1880 – 27 November 1937) was a Finnish politician, trade unionist and journalist, who served as the commander-in-chief of the Red Guards from January to March 1918 during the Finnish Civil War. Haapalainen was one of the most prominent figures of the Finnish socialist movement in the early 1900s and the first chairman of the Finnish Trade Union Federation. Haapalainen was appointed commander of Red forces and elected to the Finnish People's Delegation of the Finnish Socialist Workers' Republic in January until he was removed from both posts by April. Haapalainen fled to Soviet Russia in May 1918 after the Reds' defeat where he joined the exile Communist Party of Finland and was active in Soviet Karelia.
