Trevor Von Eeden
Trevor Von Eeden (born July 24, 1959) is a Guyanese-American comics artist, actor and writer known for his work on such titles as ''Black Lightning'', ''Batman'', '' Green Arrow'', ''Power Man and Iron Fist'', and the biographical series ''The Original Johnson''. Early life Von Eeden was born in Guyana and moved to New York City when he was 11 years old. According to Von Eeden, he remembers drawing in his early teens in order to alleviate the boredom of junior high school, beginning with anatomical studies of faces and hands, which he says are the most difficult things to draw accurately. He was introduced to comics through the vast comic collection and encouragement of his best friend Al Simonson, who suggested to submit sample artwork to DC Comics. Frederik Van Eeden
Frederik Willem van Eeden (3 April 1860, Haarlem – 16 June 1932, Bussum) was a late 19th-century and early 20th-century Dutch writer and psychiatrist. He was a leading member of the Tachtigers and the Significs Group, and had top billing among the editors of '' De Nieuwe Gids'' (''The New Guide'') during its celebrated first few years of publication, starting in 1885. Biography Van Eeden was the son of Frederik Willem Van Eeden, director of the Royal Tropical Institute in Haarlem. In 1880 he studied Medicine in Amsterdam, where he pursued a bohemian lifestyle and wrote poetry. Whilst living in the city, he coined the term lucid dream in the sense of mental clarity, a term that nowadays is a classic term in the Dream literature and study, meaning dreaming while knowing that one is dreaming. Marcel van Eeden (born 22 November 1965, in The Hague, Netherlands) is a Dutch draftsman and painter. From 1989 to 1993 van Eeden studied painting at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Van Eeden lives and works in Zurich and The Hague. Characteristically, van Eeden's work is reminiscent of the film-noir period, of almost photo-realistic depictions and he manipulates the use of the black and white contrast. A wider audience was introduced to his work after his contribution to the Berlin Biennale in 2006. Works Marcel van Eeden is primarily recognised for his drawings, for which he mainly works with charcoal pencils, however he also uses coloured pencils or water-colour paint. Marguerite van Eeden (born 6 June) is a South African actress and photographer. She is best known for her Afrikaans-language film roles in '' Vaselinetjie'' and ''Vergeet My Nie''. Early life Originally from the Cape, van Eeden grew up in Botswana. She attended boarding school at La Rochelle Girls' High School in Paarl, matriculating in 2015. Constance Van Eeden
Constance van Eeden (April 6, 1927 – September 21, 2021) was a Dutch mathematical statistician who made "exceptional contributions to the development of statistical sciences in Canada". She was interested in nonparametric statistics including maximum likelihood estimation and robust statistics, and did foundational work on parameter spaces. Education Van Eeden was born in Delft, the daughter of a schoolteacher, and spent her school years in Bergen op Zoom. She earned a bachelor's degree in 1949, master's degree in 1954, and Ph.D. in 1958 from the University of Amsterdam. Her bachelor's degree was in mathematics, physics and astronomy, and her master's degree was in actuarial science. Fleur van Eeden is a South African stunt performer who has been active since 2004. She was born in Swellendam in 1983/1984. Background In her youth, van Eeden became involved with the game of tug of war and eventually became the youngest puller on South Africa's Senior Women's team for the World Championships. She last participated in the championships in 2004 and began work as a river guide.
