Edward Russell Malone (June 16, 1920 – June 1, 2006) was an American professional baseball player. A catcher, he had a long career in minor league baseball (1938 through 1954, with the exception of the wartime 1945 campaign), interrupted by an 86-game Major League stint with the – Chicago White Sox. Malone was born in Chicago, Illinois, but grew up in Los Angeles, California; he threw and batted right-handed, stood tall and weighed . Edward Cyril Malone
Edward Cyril "Ted" Malone (born July 17, 1937) is a retired Saskatchewan lawyer, politician and judge. He represented Regina Lakeview in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan from 1973 to 1978 and was leader of the Liberal Party of Saskatchewan from 1976 to 1981. He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1937, the son of Justin Cyril Malone and Marion Grassick who was the daughter of James Grassick, a Regina MLA and mayor. Malone studied law at the University of Saskatchewan and went on to work for the federal and provincial Liberal parties. Eddie Malone
Edward Joseph Malone, (born 6 April 1985) is a Scottish association football player, who plays for East Stirlingshire. Malone has also been on the books of many other Scottish clubs, as well as playing trial league matches with Greenock Morton and Berwick Rangers. Malone was born in Edinburgh and started his senior career with St Johnstone. He then played for Clyde and became the vice-captain of the team. He signed a contract with SPL club St Mirren on 30 January 2007 and then moved to Dundee for a month-long loan in November of that year. This turned into a permanent position in January 2008. He was released by the club on 4 May 2010 with eight other players. Malone played for Raith Rovers for the 2012–13 seasons and for Stenhousemuir for the 2013–14 season. ''The Lost World'' is a science fiction novel by British writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1912, concerning an expedition to a plateau in the Amazon basin of South America where prehistoric animals still survive. It was originally published serially in the ''Strand Magazine'' and illustrated by New-Zealand-born artist Harry Rountree during the months of April–November 1912. The character of Professor Challenger was introduced in this book.
