Eduardo J. Corso
Jesús Eduardo Corso Crispino, popularly known as Eduardo J. Corso (1 September 1920 – 5 December 2012), was a Uruguayan lawyer, agricultural journalist and writer. Articles he wrote were published in magazines and newspapers such as ''El País'' and ''Marcha'', and he was a conservative. According to ''El País'', Corso was known for his "brutal" use of language, which earned him some friends and enemies. Biography Corso was born on 1 September 1920 in San Ramón, Canelones Department, Uruguay. He was a supporter of the Civic Union, a small Uruguayan political party. He was the successor of Salvador García Pintos for the "Field Journal" radio station in 1949, and later worked for Radio Rural, Sarandí, Oriental, and El Espectador. San Ramón, Uruguay
San Ramón is a small city in the north of Canelones Department, in southern Uruguay. San Ramón is also the name of the municipality to which the city belongs. Geography It is situated on the south bank of Santa Lucía River, which is the border with Florida Department and south of the hill Cuchilla del Chamizo. The stream Arroyo Pilatos flows south of the city. Location The city is located on the intersection of Route 6 with Route 12 and Route 63, about north of the centre of Montevideo and south of the village Chamizo of Florida Department. Punta del Este () is a seaside city and peninsula on the Atlantic Coast in the Maldonado Department of southeastern Uruguay. Julio María Sanguinetti Coirolo (; born 6 January 1936 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan politician, lawyer and journalist, who twice served as President of Uruguay (from March 1985 until March 1990, and again, from March 1995 until March 2000) for the Partido Colorado. A lawyer and journalist by profession, he was born into a middle-class family of Italian origin from Genoa. He studied Law and Social Sciences at the University of the Republic. He received his law degree in 1961, and later combined his legal practice with work as a journalist.
