Eduard Kojnok (14 August 1933 in Hrnčiarska Ves, Veľká Suchá – 27 October 2011 in Rožňava) was the Roman Catholic bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rožňava, Slovakia. Ordained to the priesthood in 1956, Kojnok became bishop of the Rožňava Diocese in 1990; he retired in 2008. Rožňava ( hu, Rozsnyó, german: Rosenau, Latin: ''Rosnavia'') is a town in Slovakia, approximately by road from Košice in the Košice Region, and has a population of 19,182. The town is an economic and tourist centre of the Gemer. Rožňava is now a popular tourist attraction with a beautiful historic town centre. The town is an episcopal seat. The Diocese of Rožňava ( sk, Rožňavská diecéza, la, Dioecesis Rosnaviensis) is a Roman Catholic diocese in southern Slovakia. It covers central and eastern parts of the Banská Bystrica Region and western parts of the Košice Region.
