Eduard Gafencu
Eduard Gafencu (born February 9, 1993) is a Romanian kickboxer and former boxer. He currently competes in the Welterweight division for Glory. Gafencu is the first fighter to become a two-division Colosseum Tournament champion, holding titles in two weight classes simultaneously. He has also competed for Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS). As of 18 August 2020, he is the #14 ranked welterweight in the world, according to the International Professional Combat Council (IPCC). Early life Gafencu played soccer from 7 to 14 years old, but quit after an injury. He also practiced swimming. Gafencu then started boxing at the age of 15, but after a short while he switched to kickboxing. At the age of 16 and a half, he had his first fight and practiced kickboxing until the age of 21, culminating in a three-year hiatus. Ștefan Orza (born 12 April 2001) is a Romanian professional undefeated kickboxer, and former kempo practitioner, freestyle wrestler and mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Welterweight division in the Colosseum Tournament. A professional competitor since 2017, Orza formerly competed for OSS Fighters. The Colosseum Tournament (COLOSSEUM) is a kickboxing, mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing promotion company based in Romania, which is owned by Gabriel Georgescu. It is one of the largest kickboxing promotions in the country, and takes its name from ''colosseum''. It promoted the first sanctioned professional event in Ploiești, Romania on November 26, 2016, and since its inception can be seen on Digi Sport and on FightBox in over 60 countries. On 30 June 2023, Colosseum Tournament was relaunched on FITE TV after 2017-2019. Daniel Florin Ghiță (, born 22 April 1981) is a Romanian politician and former kickboxer, who serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania since December 2020. Ghiță is the former It's Showtime heavyweight champion. He formerly competed in Glory, and was the runner up of the Glory Heavyweight Grand Slam tournament. He also competed for the Japanese K-1 promotion, where he made his name in their 2009 and 2010 World Grand Prix seasons.
