Edson Castillo
Edson Daniel Castillo García (born 18 May 1994) is a Venezuelan Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career Club Edson Castillo began his career at Mineros de Guayana, Mineros, made his debut in the Venezuelan Primera División at the age of 16, against Aragua FC, Aragua on 17 October 2010. In June 2016, Castillo moved to Azerbaijan Premier League side Neftçi PFK, Neftchi Baku. In July 2017, Neftchi Baku announced that Castillo had moved back to Mineros de Guayana, Mineros on loan until the end of 2017. On 18 December 2017, Neftchi Baku announced that they had parted ways with Castillo by mutual consent. In July 2023, Castillo signed for South African Premier Division side Kaizer Chiefs F.C., Kaizer Chiefs on a two-year deal. Ciudad Guayana () (English: Guayana City) is a city in Bolívar State (Venezuela), Bolívar State, Venezuela. The 2021 Copa América was the 47th edition of the Copa América, the international men's association football, football championship organised by South America's football ruling body CONMEBOL. The tournament took place in Brazil from 13 June to 10 July 2021. It was originally scheduled to take place from 12 June to 12 July 2020 in Argentina and Colombia as the 2020 Copa América. On 17 March 2020, CONMEBOL announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic in South America, the tournament had been postponed for a year, in conjunction with UEFA's decision to also postpone UEFA Euro 2020 to 2021.
