Edi Subaktiar
Edi Subaktiar (born 13 January 1994) is an Indonesian former badminton player specializing in doubles. He was the 2012 World Junior mixed doubles champion partnered with Melati Daeva Oktaviani. In the international competition, he was paired with Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja in mixed doubles and with Ronald Alexander in men's doubles. Since 2008, he joined PB. Djarum, a badminton club in Kudus, Central Java where his pair in mixed doubles Widjaja also joined. He retired in 2019 after a long injury which had prevented him to play again since it occurred at the 2017 SEA Games. Personal life After leaving national training centre in 2019, Subaktiar was then assigned by Djarum club to become a coach in Champion club in Magelang. Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja
Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja (born 28 December 1993) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum since 2007. She was the 2011 Indonesia National and World Junior Champions in the mixed doubles event. For her achievements, Widjaja was awarded as the best Djarum player of the year. She won her first senior international title in 2014 Macau Open Grand Prix Gold. Career Widjaja made a debut in the international tournament at the 2010 Indonesia International Challenge, reaching in to the quarterfinals in the women's and mixed doubles event. She was selected to join national junior team compete at the 2011 Asian and World Junior Championships. Teamed-up with Alfian Eko Prasetya, they emerged as the mixed doubles world junior champion, beating their compatriots Ronald Alexander and Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah in the rubber games 12–21, 21–17, 25–23 in the final. Melati Daeva Oktavianti
Melati Daeva Oktavianti (born 26 October 1994) is an Indonesian doubles specialist badminton player affiliated with Djarum club since 2008. She was the 2019 Southeast Asian Games gold medalist in the mixed doubles with Praveen Jordan, and 2012 World Junior mixed doubles champion partnered with Edi Subaktiar. Oktavianti and Subaktiar partnership were also a former world junior number 1. Oktavianti and her partner, Jordan, won the historical All England Open in 2020. The duo reached a career high of world number 4 in March 2020. Oktavianti competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Wu Hsiao-lin (; born 4 February 1995) is a badminton player from Taiwan. In 2012, he won the silver medal at the Asian Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event partnered with Wang Chi-lin. Teamed-up with Lin Chia-yu, they reach the Vietnam Open finals. They failed to win the title after being beaten by the Indonesian pair in three sets. Wang Chi-lin (; born 18 January 1995) is a Taiwanese badminton player who specializes in doubles. He is the 2020 Olympics men's doubles champion. Career In 2021, at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he and his partner Lee Yang defeated the 2018 World Champions' Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen in the men's doubles final. They became the first unseeded pair to win a gold medal in the Olympics' men's doubles badminton. This was Chinese Taipei's first Olympic medal in badminton. Gimcheon (; , trans., 'gold spring city') is a city in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea.
