Edgar Estrada
Edgar Eladio Estrada Solís (born November 16, 1967), popularly known as "El Gato" (The Cat), is a Guatemalan footballer who has played goalkeeper for several clubs in Guatemala's top division. He was capped 71 times for the Guatemala national football team. Club career "El Gato" started his professional career at Aurora F.C., winning the domestic league title in the 1992-93 season. He remained there until 1996, when he joined CSD Comunicaciones. He helped that club win four consecutive league titles. In 2001, he signed with CSD Municipal, where he won two more titles. He then had a second stint with Comunicaciones. On May 11, 2003, he scored his first career goal via a penalty kick. He repeated such action one year later, against his former club Aurora. After having retired due to a spine injury, he surprisingly returned to play in 2005 for Comunicaciones. He then joined Deportivo Suchitepéquez, of whom he was a member until the end of 2006. Goals Against Average
Goals against average (GAA) also known as "average goals against" or "AGA" is a statistic used in field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and water polo that is the mean of goals allowed per game by a goaltender or goalkeeper (depending on sport). GAA is analogous to a baseball pitcher's earned run average (ERA). In Japanese, the same translation (防御率) is used for both GAA and ERA, because of this. For ice hockey, the goals against average statistic is the number of goals a goaltender allows per 60 minutes of playing time. It is calculated by taking the number of goals against, multiply that by 60 (minutes) and then dividing by the number of minutes played. The modification is used by the NHL since 1965 and the IIHF since 1990. When calculating GAA, overtime goals and time on ice are included, whereas empty net and shootout goals are not. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. The Copa Centroamericana (, Spanish for "Central American Cup") was the main association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the ''Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol'' ( UNCAF), the sport's Central American governing body.
