José Edgar Andrade da Costa (born 14 April 1987) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a forward or winger. He played 284 Primeira Liga games and scored 21 goals for Nacional and Marítimo, having started his career with a third team from Madeira, União. Club career Nacional Born in Câmara de Lobos, Madeira, Costa finished his development at local C.F. União. He made his senior debut with the club in 2006, and played three third-division seasons with it. Costa joined neighbouring C.D. Nacional in summer 2009, appearing in 14 games in his first season in the Primeira Liga (nine as a substitute) and scoring two goals as the team finished in seventh position. Câmara De Lobos
Câmara de Lobos (; or 'Wolves' Chamber') is a municipality and town in the southern coast of the Portuguese island of Madeira, divided in 5 freguesias. A de facto suburb of the much larger capital city of Funchal, it is one of the larger population centres and an extension of the Funchal economy. History The location of the modern town is believed to be the original landing point for the Portuguese discoverer João Gonçalves Zarco, who is credited with the discovery of the Madeira Islands. When the explorer disembarked in this area (1419), he observed a narrow rocky peninsula that extended into the ocean, and another nearby that formed an amphitheatre-like harbour that could shelter ships from Atlantic storms. The 2013–14 Segunda Liga, also known as the Liga Revolução by Cabovisão for sponsorship reasons, was the 24th season of the second-tier of football in Portugal.
