Eddie (Louie)
"Eddie" is the ninth episode of the second season of '' Louie''. It first aired on the FX channel in the United States on August 11, 2011. The episode has him reconnecting with an estranged friend from the comedy club circuit who confesses that he is planning on killing himself and just wants to say goodbye to the only person who will associate with him. The episode was received positively by critics. Doug Stanhope (born March 25, 1967) is an American stand-up comedian, author, actor, political activist and podcast host. His stand-up material consist of profane and confrontational observations of life. Early life Stanhope was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. His mother Bonnie was a waitress and his father Russ was head of the science department at Stanhope's school. Bonnie Alcoholism, quit drinking and divorced her husband when Stanhope was ten years old, and moved to Florida. Stanhope and his older brother Jeff lived with Russ. In 1998, he persuaded Bonnie to live near him in West Hollywood, California. Later, she suffered from emphysema.
