Ed Jerse
Edward S. Jerse (born 1959) is an American politician who served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. In 2004, he ran for the Democratic nomination for Ohio's 14th congressional district, but lost to political novice Capri S. Cafaro. Career Jerse, who has served as a member of Euclid, Ohio's city council, has served in the Ohio House from 1995 to 2005. and was the ranking minority member of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriations. Jerse served as Assistant Prosecutor with the City of Euclid from 2005 to 2006. In the fall of 2005, Jerse served as campaign manager for the Reform Ohio Now ballot initiatives that tried to limit the role of the Ohio Secretary of State in elections. Ron Suster
Ronald Joseph Suster (born October 31, 1942) is a retired American lawyer who served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1981 until 1995, and as a judge in Cuyahoga County from 1995 until 2012. Early life and education Ronald Joseph Suster was born on October 31, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Joseph Suster, Jr. (1909-1959) and Frances Pryatel (1906-1997). His grandparents were first-generation immigrants from Slovenia. He attended Villa Angela–St. Joseph High School, a Catholic college-preparatory school in North Collinwood, Cleveland, and was later inducted into its Hall of Fame in 1992. Suster attended Western Reserve University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and economics in 1964. Ted Strickland
Theodore Strickland (born August 4, 1941) is an American politician who was the 68th governor of Ohio, serving from 2007 to 2011. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the United States House of Representatives, representing (1993–1995, 1997–2007). In the 2006 gubernatorial election, Strickland was elected to succeed term-limited Republican incumbent Bob Taft, receiving 60% of the vote and defeating Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell. He was narrowly defeated for re-election in the 2010 gubernatorial election by former U.S. Representative John Kasich. The Secretary of State of Ohio is an elected statewide official in the State of Ohio. The Secretary of state is responsible for overseeing elections in the state; registering business entities (corporations, etc.) and granting them the authority to do business within the state; registering secured transactions; and granting access to public documents.
