Ed Crocker
Ed Crocker (born February 28, 1948) is an American politician. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on February 28, 1948. Crocker earned an associate degree from Pasadena City College, then attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he finished a bachelor's degree. Crocker graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 with a master's degree in public administration. He was active in several local civic groups and worked for the Oklahoma Senate. Crocker sat on the Norman City Council starting in 1989, resigning the next year to run for the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He won reelection against Republican Steve Byas twice, in 1992 and 1994. Crocker left the state house in 1996 to face J. C. Watts, as Watts sought reelection to the United States House of Representatives from Oklahoma's 4th congressional district. Cal Hobson
Calvin Jackson Hobson III is an American politician who served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the Oklahoma Senate. He was the President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma Senate from 2003 to 2005. Early life, family, and education Hobson was born on March 30, 1945, in Tucson, Arizona as the eldest son of Wardena and Calvin Jackson Hobson II, his parents having met while attending the University of Oklahoma. Hobson's father served in the United States Army Air Corps training pilots during World War II. Returning to Oklahoma, the Hobson family settled on a family farm in Wayne, OK where his father entered the oil and gas industry. Oklahoma Ethics Commission
The Oklahoma Ethics Commission is an agency of the state of Oklahoma that issues rules on the ethical conduct for state elected officials and employees. It also investigates and prosecutes violations of its rules. The Ethics Commission was created by a two-to-one vote of the people of the state per an initiative effort adding Article XXIX to the Oklahoma Constitution. The statewide vote on the amendment (State Question No. 627) was held September 18, 1990. The commission was created in 1990 during the term of Governor Henry Bellmon. Commissioners were sworn in and began meeting in July 1991. Wallace Collins (born April 11, 1941) is an American politician. Prior to his political career, Collins worked as a machinist. He faced Republican Steve Byas in 1996 election, and succeeded Ed Crocker as member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 45th district. Collins won reelection in 1998, then lost to Thad Balkman twice, in 2000 and 2002. From 2001 to 2005, he led the Cleveland County Democratic Party. He returned to the state house in 2007, by defeating Balkman. Collins faced Aaron Stiles in 2008. He was unseated by Stiles' second campaign in 2010.
