Eclair Fifi
Clair Stirling, known more widely by her stage name Eclair Fifi, is a Scottish DJ, artist and illustrator, currently signed to LuckyMe. She is an illustrator & designer for the label and hosts a monthly show on London radio station NTS Radio. DJ Introduced to dance music from an early age through her parents interest in Detroit Techno and Chicago House, at 16 years old Eclair Fifi DJ'd on a pirate show on 'Interface' – one of the world's first radio stations broadcasting online. As a club dj she currently holds a residency at Paris Social Club as well as Hoya:Hoya in Manchester. She has recorded mixes for FACT, Triple J and URB and was "Azealia Banks' go-to DJ" for her special Mermaid's Ball Party in London. Nina Elizabeth Agzarian (born 18 December 1984), known professionally by her stage name Nina Las Vegas, is an Australian radio host, DJ and music producer. From 2009 to 2014 she was the host of ''House Party'' on national radio station Triple J. Santiago Salazar (musician)
Santiago Salazar a.k.a. DJ S² is a Chicano DJ in Los Angeles who began his career in the underground dance music scene in the early 1990s. Salazar was invited to Underground Resistance in Detroit by Mike Banks, where he stayed from 2002 to 2006. He released his debut album ''Chicanismo'' in 2015 and received positive reviews for subsequent albums and EPs. Personal life Salazar grew up in Bassett, California, a Latino suburb near La Puente about twenty miles from Downtown Los Angeles, where he was influenced by the sounds of Italo disco, cumbia, high-energy rap music, R&B, funk, and hi-NRG disco. Henrietta Smith-Rolla (born 1980/81), is a British-born Ghanaian-Russian-German composer, producer and DJ based in Manchester, performing under the alias Afrodeutsche. Alongside her prolific DJ career, she has produced music for her own studio album, as well as music for television and film, including composing the score for BAFTA nominated short film ''Kamali''. Lunice Fermin Pierre II (born May 15, 1988), better known by his stage name Lunice, is a Canadian record producer and DJ from Montreal. He is one half of the duo TNGHT along with Hudson Mohawke. Biography Lunice is the son of a Filipino mother and a Haitian father. Lunice started as a b-boy, dancing competitively for the 701 Squad. In the early 2000s, he was inspired to make his own music after hearing how producer 9th Wonder constructed beats on the computer program Fruity Loops. In 2007, Lunice played his first gig at Hovatron's monthly Bass Culture in Montréal, where he met Sixtoo, and was invited to perform at the Megasoid parties. Phonograph
A phonograph, in its later forms also called a gramophone (as a trademark since 1887, as a generic name in the UK since 1910) or since the 1940s called a record player, or more recently a turntable, is a device for the mechanical and analogue recording and reproduction of sound. The sound vibration waveforms are recorded as corresponding physical deviations of a spiral groove engraved, etched, incised, or impressed into the surface of a rotating cylinder or disc, called a "record". To recreate the sound, the surface is similarly rotated while a playback stylus traces the groove and is therefore vibrated by it, very faintly reproducing the recorded sound.
